Overview
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and implement new network solutions within the telecommunications infrastructure.
Perform installation and testing of communications equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) and ensure its proper functioning.
Provide software and hardware maintenance for the organization’s networks and infrastructure.
Manage and monitor communications equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
Provide technological support for networks for internal and external clients.
Diagnose problems and report any failures or technical, operational, or security anomalies to communication service providers and related areas, ensuring their proper follow-up and resolution.
Provide connectivity services to internal personnel, such as telephony, internet, and network access.
Respond to service failures, identifying the cause of the incident and ensuring service continuity.
Configure the internal interconnection of new equipment entering the telecommunications infrastructure and applying the security policies indicated by the standard.
Implement new network designs for internal services to ensure good performance and availability for our internal and external clients.
Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related degrees in the technology field.
Knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP model. Knowledge of network equipment such as routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
Advanced knowledge of WAN/LAN/MAN networks. Knowledge of traffic analyzers
Knowledge of structured cabling at the telecommunications topology level.
At least 4 years of experience in similar positions
