Job description:
Foreman/Site Supervisor
Experience in managing crews of construction operatives on infrastructure projects which involve installation of underground services, ducting and drainage installation, concrete works, kerbing, footpath installation and general groundworks/civil engineering works.
Role Requirements:
Ensure all works carried out are to the highest quality and specifications required
Ensure Health and Safety compliance on-site, adhering to all regulations and promoting a safe working environment. Ensure operatives comply with all project Health & Safety requirements, site rules, wear correct PPE for each task comply with and requirements to ensure highest standards are maintained
Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
Manage and co-ordinate plant and equipment on site
Review and report on programmes ensuring completion dates are met, materials are ordered and delivered in advance to carry out programmed works
Ensure high quality of works
Maintain accurate site records, including completing daily site diary, photographic records, recording material deliveries used on site and delivered to site, and recording daily outputs progress. Skills/Experience required for the role
10+ years’ minimum extensive site management experience in a similar role on civil engineering/infrastructure projects
Civils and plant background essential, this role would suit a person from a plant operating or groundwork
Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards, and health and safety requirements.
An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team environment
The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
Strong leadership skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language

Pay: AED11,000.00 – AED13,500.00 per month
