Position: Odoo Developer
Department: IT / Digital Transformation
Reports To: IT Manager / Head of Digital Transformation

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Odoo certification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Odoo development and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
  • Experience in implementing ERP solutions for multiple business units or group companies is preferred.
  • Experience integrating Odoo with third-party systems, APIs, and external applications.
  • Knowledge of business processes in Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing, or Food & Beverage industries is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with Odoo Framework (ORM, Models, Views, Workflows, Security, Reports).
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.
  • Familiarity with XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and QWeb templates.
  • Experience in REST API development and system integration.
  • Knowledge of Git version control and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of Linux server administration and cloud hosting is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP modules based on business requirements.
  • Design and implement new features, workflows, and automation within Odoo.
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and custom business intelligence tools.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform system upgrades, testing, and deployment.
  • Optimize system performance and database efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all group companies to identify process improvements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and system documentation.
  • Ensure data security, system reliability, and compliance with company IT policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Odoo versions 14–18.
  • Experience in multi-company and multi-warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Nginx, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience working with holding companies or organizations managing multiple subsidiaries is highly preferred.

Pay: Up to QAR1.00 per month
