Job Description:
We are a well-established British Nursery in Al Ain, UAE, seeking to hire a highly qualified, experienced Nursery Manager for our branch.
The core purpose of the role is to provide professional leadership and management for the Nursery.
To achieve this success, the candidate must establish high-quality education by effectively managing teaching and learning, and utilising personalised learning to maximise the potential of all pupils. To provide vision, leadership, and direction for the Nursery, ensuring it is managed and organised to meet its aims and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Nursery Manager will provide academic leadership to teachers and oversee nursery operations.
Working with children under four and communicating and managing parent relationships are routine elements of this role’s day-to-day work.
- Conduct workshops/trainings for Teachers/TA’s
- Oversee and ensure the Nursery’s commitment to providing quality education and promoting continued improvement, with a primary focus on student outcomes.
- Maintain policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
- Recruit, appoint, and train qualified staff in accordance with the standards set by the Early Years curriculum.
- Manage the staff at the nursery and ensure everyone follows and maintains the standard of Quality.
- Ensuring lesson plans are in place and that they follow the British curriculum.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Years, or a Bachelor’s degree plus a CACHE Level 5 certificate, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
Knowledge of ADEK requirements will be an added advantage
Experience of not less than three cumulative years in educational leadership as a Manager in British curriculum Nurseries
The candidate must have demonstrable classroom experience, leadership skills, and English fluency
The ideal individual must be friendly and warm, able to treat the nursery as their own, and cultivate an environment that is welcoming for parents, children, and staff.
Fluency in English & excellent communication skills are a must.
