Kiinect is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Non-Profit Finance Officer to join our team in Mesaieed. This role plays a vital part in managing financial operations for our non-profit initiatives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective stewardship of funds. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations for non-profit programs and projects
- Record, monitor, and reconcile all income, donations, and expenditure
- Prepare accurate financial reports for internal stakeholders and donors
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, grant conditions, and organizational policies
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for non-profit activities
- Track and report on grant utilization and project-based funding
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure transparency in all transactions
- Collaborate with program teams to align financial management with project goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in finance, preferably within non-profit or NGO environments
- Strong understanding of fund accounting and donor reporting requirements
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS is an advantage)
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with NGOs, charities, or development organizations
- Familiarity with grant management and donor compliance reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
