Job Overview:
Proztec Qatar is looking for a NOC Agent to support our IT Service Operations team on a 1-month contract basis.
The NOC Agent will be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure, identifying and resolving system/network events, managing incidents, and ensuring the availability and stability of IT services.
Important Requirement:
Candidates must be currently available in Qatar and able to join immediately. Freelancers or candidates available for short-term contracts are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network infrastructure and IT systems using monitoring tools.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network/system issues.
- Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Resolve or escalate incidents raised during shifts.
- Support Service Desk, SOC, and Service Delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate incident records, reports, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with network, system administration, and security teams for issue resolution.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding incidents and resolutions.
- Follow IT service management processes and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or Infrastructure Support.
- Internship or hands-on experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of Cisco networking technologies.
- Good understanding of Microsoft technologies:
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Azure
- Office 365
- SCCM
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
- ITIL V4 Foundation certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Operations Bridge Manager (OBM) and HP/Microfocus Service Manager is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.

- CCNA
- ITIL V4 Foundation
- Microsoft Certifications
