Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable our Custmers network systems while providing expert support for operational needs. Based in **Abu Dhabi**, this role focuses on safeguarding the organization’s network infrastructure, managing security solutions, and ensuring the integrity of systems against evolving cyber threats.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in both networking and cybersecurity,with proven experience in deploying and managing secure network environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Security Management
Design and deploy security measures to protect network systems from internal and external threats.
Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities using tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
Respond to security incidents promptly, investigating root causes and implementing mitigation strategies.
2. Network Support and Optimization
Maintain and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance.
Manage VPNs, secure remote access, and endpoint protection for the organization’s users.
3. Access Control and Policy Enforcement**
– Implement and enforce security policies, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
– Manage user access controls, authentication systems, and identity management solutions.
– Ensure proper configuration and updating of firewalls, ACLs, and network segmentation.
4. Collaboration and Leadership**
– Provide guidance to IT and security teams on best practices for securing network infrastructures.
– Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity and networking for cross-functional projects.
– Train junior staff and other stakeholders on network security protocols and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.
– Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
Certifications:
Mandatory certifications: CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
Additional certifications like CEH, CISM, or Palo Alto PCNSE are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and security
– Proven expertise in managing security technologies, such as firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), SIEM tools, and IDS/IPS systems.
– Hands-on experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and troubleshooting in complex environments.
Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in managing LAN/WAN, VLANs, and wireless networks.
– Strong knowledge of encryption, PKI, VPNs, and multifactor authentication solutions.
– Familiarity with cloud security in environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Soft Skills:
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Work Environment and Availability
