MEP Mechanical Draftsman Jobs in Dubai at Object 1 Real Estate

Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for MEP Mechanical Draftsman to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Develop detailed layouts for:
- HVAC systems (Ductwork, Chilled Water, VRF, DX Systems)
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Firefighting systems (Sprinkler, Hose Reel, Wet Riser, Dry Riser)
- Mechanical equipment installation layouts
- Pump rooms and plant rooms
- Mechanical shafts and risers
- Coordinate mechanical drawings with electrical, architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
- Prepare coordinated MEP drawings to eliminate clashes before construction.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
- Review consultant drawings and identify discrepancies before preparing shop drawings.
- Prepare builders’ work drawings and sleeve opening layouts.
- Prepare material quantity take-offs from approved drawings.
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and project requirements.
- Assist engineers in preparing technical submittals and method statements.
- Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and prepare as-built drawings.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.
- Deliver drawings within project schedules while maintaining company quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an MEP Mechanical Draftsman.
- Minimum 5–7 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP contracting.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and high-rise building projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation practices and MEP coordination.
