Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimator with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. Candidates without fit-out experience will not be considered.
The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for MEP systems within fast-paced fit-out projects, requiring strong coordination with design, procurement, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs specifically for fit-out MEP scope
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for:
- HVAC systems (DX, VRF, ducting modifications)
- Electrical systems (lighting, small power, DBs, containment)
- Plumbing & drainage within fit-out scope
- Fire alarm & firefighting systems
- Perform quantity take-offs aligned with fit-out drawings
- Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations
- Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs
- Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure scope clarity
- Prepare and submit tender proposals within tight deadlines
- Analyze variations and change orders during project lifecycle
- Maintain cost databases specific to fit-out projects
Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in MEP estimation within interior fit-out companies
- Proven UAE experience in fit-out projects (offices, retail, F&B, hospitality, etc.)
- Strong understanding of fit-out MEP coordination and site constraints
- Experience in fast-track projects and tight timelines
