Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled 3D AutoCAD Draftsman (MEP) to prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical drafting, with the ability to coordinate with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for MEP systems.
- Develop shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Produce HVAC ducting layouts, chilled water piping, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical layouts.
- Prepare sections, elevations, isometric drawings, and installation details.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, structural teams, and site engineers to resolve design clashes.
- Update drawings based on site conditions and engineer/client comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and document control.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation from drawings when required.
- Support project execution by providing timely drawing revisions and technical drafting support.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an MEP AutoCAD Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of MEP installation standards and construction practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
