Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is urgently seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator with strong UAE project exposure to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can lead BIM coordination across disciplines and ensure high-quality, clash-free models in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage MEP BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks
- Review and integrate mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing models into a coordinated BIM environment
- Perform clash detection and manage clash resolution workflows
- Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design alignment
- Conduct and participate in BIM coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders
- Ensure models comply with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and UAE authority requirements
- Monitor model quality, LOD compliance, naming conventions, and data integrity
- Guide and support BIM modelers/draughtsmen to achieve coordination milestones
- Generate coordination reports, clash reports, and technical documentation
- Oversee model updates based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant feedback
- Support project submissions and ensure timely delivery of coordinated models
- Assist in preparing as-built BIM models
Requirements
- 4–7 years of UAE experience in BIM, with at least 2 years in a coordination role
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks
- Solid understanding of all MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Proven experience in clash detection and multi-discipline coordination
- Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BEP implementation
- Knowledge of UAE authority standards and project workflows
- Experience in commercial or high-rise projects preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Must be currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining
