Mechanical and Electrical Quality Controller Jobs in Dubai at Legend Holding Group

Job Purpose

To ensure that all mechanical and electrical repairs are completed according to company, manufacturer, and customer quality standards before vehicle delivery. The Mechanical & Electrical QC is responsible for inspecting completed repairs, identifying technical defects, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring vehicles are delivered right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections at different stages of the mechanical and electrical repair process and before vehicle delivery.
  • Perform final QC inspections to ensure all mechanical and electrical repairs are completed correctly and meet the required standards.
  • Verify that repairs have been carried out according to manufacturer/OEM specifications and approved repair procedures.
  • Check engine, transmission, cooling system, braking system, steering, suspension, exhaust, and other mechanical components after repair.
  • Inspect electrical systems, including battery, charging system, starting system, lighting, sensors, wiring, control modules, and electrical components.
  • Perform appropriate diagnostic scans and system checks to identify fault codes or remaining technical issues.
  • Verify that all warning lights and fault messages have been properly resolved before vehicle delivery.
  • Conduct functional tests and road tests where required to confirm the vehicle is operating correctly.
  • Verify correct installation, tightening, connection, and operation of replaced or repaired components.
  • Ensure all identified technical defects are rectified before the vehicle is released to the customer.
  • Complete and maintain the Mechanical & Electrical QC checklist for every vehicle.
  • Coordinate with Technicians, Workshop Supervisors, Parts, Service Advisors, and other relevant teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Immediately escalate major, safety-related, or repeated quality concerns to the Service Reception Manager.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to mechanical and electrical repairs and support corrective actions.
  • Monitor and reduce rework, repeat repairs, technical comebacks, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure all required tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing procedures are used correctly during QC.
  • Verify that replaced parts and components are correctly fitted and functioning according to specifications.
  • Ensure the vehicle is properly cleaned and presented before customer delivery.
  • Maintain accurate QC records and provide regular quality reports to the Service Reception Manager.
  • Identify recurring technical problems and provide feedback to the Workshop team to prevent repetition.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve repair quality, technical efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure no vehicle is released without completing the required QC inspection and obtaining the necessary approval.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronic control systems.
  • Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical inspection skills.
  • Ability to identify mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic defects.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
