Logistics Coordination: Ensure efficient transportation and delivery of materials, resolving any logistics issues.
Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular reports on inventory and procurement.
Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluate their performance, and address issues to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and quality control teams to coordinate material movements, resolve discrepancies, and improve supply chain processes as a Material Controller.
Inventory Management Systems: Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels, generate reports, and analyze data for decision-making regarding reorder quantities and inventory turnover.
Negotiation and Cost Optimization: Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, monitor inventory levels, and implement control measures to optimize working capital and reduce costs.
Skills:
At least three (3) years of relevant experience in materials management, inventory control, supply chain, or procurement.
Proficiency in inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing replenishment strategies.
Familiarity with ERP systems to streamline material tracking, generate reports, and make informed decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent discrepancies.
