Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and friendly Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about wellness, provide excellent customer service, and deliver relaxing and therapeutic massage treatments while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform different types of massage treatments, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Aromatherapy, and other therapies offered by the salon.
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of massage equipment and work areas.
- Ensure clients are comfortable throughout the treatment.
- Recommend appropriate retail products and aftercare advice.
- Maintain accurate client records when required.
- Follow salon policies, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
- Work professionally with other therapists and reception staff to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
- Certificate or diploma in Massage Therapy or a related field.
- Knowledge of different massage techniques and body treatments.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
- English communication skills are required. Additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in spa or beauty salon environments.
- Knowledge of body scrubs, body wraps, and wellness treatments.
- Sales skills for recommending retail and treatment packages.
