Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, stones, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, floors, and other structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
- Mix mortar, cement, and other construction materials.
- Construct, repair, and maintain walls, partitions, foundations, and other masonry structures.
- Ensure work is completed according to quality standards and project timelines.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other construction workers as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in construction projects.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
