Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the hotel’s marketing and promotional activities to increase brand awareness, drive room bookings, promote food and beverage outlets, meetings and events, and enhance guest engagement. The role works closely with the Sales, Revenue, Operations, and Digital Marketing teams to execute marketing campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist in planning and implementing hotel marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate seasonal offers, stay packages, dining promotions, and special events.
  • Support brand initiatives to increase occupancy, revenue, and guest loyalty.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards and hotel guidelines.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update hotel website content, ensuring accuracy of rates, promotions, images, and information.
  • Coordinate social media content calendars and monitor engagement across platforms.
  • Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and guest communications.
  • Assist in managing online travel agency (OTA) content and promotional listings.

Content Creation

  • Develop marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, digital advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate photography and video shoots showcasing hotel facilities, rooms, restaurants, and events.
  • Write engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare regular marketing reports.
  • Analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and booking conversion rates.
  • Maintain databases and marketing records.

Event & Partnership Coordination

  • Support the promotion of hotel events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.
  • Coordinate marketing activities with local businesses, tourism organizations, and media partners.
  • Assist in organizing press visits, influencer collaborations, and public relations activities.

Administrative Support

  • Manage marketing calendars and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, printers, designers, and vendors.
  • Process marketing purchase requests and assist with budget tracking.
  • Maintain an organized archive of marketing assets and brand materials.

Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, hotels, tourism, or related industries.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Understanding of hotel operations and hospitality market trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hotel systems and hospitality marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools.
  • Experience working with OTAs such as Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda.
  • Familiarity with CRM and loyalty program marketing.
