About the Role
NFI Middle East FZCO is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC (Air Conditioning), Electrical, Plumbing, and General Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the factory, office, and accommodation facilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning (split, ducted, package units, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system faults.
- Carry out electrical maintenance, including lighting, sockets, DB panels, switches, and minor wiring works.
- Perform plumbing repairs, including pipes, fittings, toilets, wash basins, water pumps, and drainage systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of factory, office, and accommodation facilities.
- Repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, shelving, and other general maintenance items.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
- Monitor the condition of equipment and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work.
- Coordinate with external contractors when major repairs are required.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of maintenance experience in the UAE.
- Experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning is essential.
- Good knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Experience in general building maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage (not mandatory).
- Ability to work under pressure and attend emergency maintenance when required.
Preferred Skills
- HVAC servicing and troubleshooting.
- Electrical fault finding.
- Plumbing repairs.
- Basic carpentry and handyman skills.
- Painting and finishing touch-up works.
- Welding experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules.
