Position: Â Wanted Low & Medium Voltage Panel Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
The LV / MV Panel Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment within the scope of work. This includes:
Performing regular inspections, tests, and maintenance on all assigned equipment according to established procedures and schedules.
Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment, identifying and resolving electrical problems.
Calibrating and adjusting protective devices to ensure proper operation and safety.
Implementing preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Installing and commissioningnew equipmentas required.
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
Complying with all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Working effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
Providing technical support to other departments as required.
Knowledge of LV panels, circuit breakers, ATS panels, DBs, MSBs, battery chargers, and capacitor banks is essential.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, including AC/DC circuits, power systems, and electrical safety.
Experience with LV and MV switch gear, including circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and protective devices.
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
Strongproblem-solvingandanalytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Ranges:QAR 1700 plus overtime, accommodation, and transportation by company.
Immediate joining with NOC preferred.
Having a Qatar Driving License will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR 1,700.00 – QAR 2,000.00 per month
