Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all logistics operations for Roads & Bridges projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of materials, equipment, and workforce to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and monitor end-to-end logistics operations for Roads & Bridges projects
- Coordinate the transportation of construction materials, heavy equipment, and manpower to project sites
- Develop logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization
- Collaborate with procurement, project, and site teams to align logistics with project schedules
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicles, machinery, and third-party transport providers
- Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring proper storage and tracking of materials
- Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Identify and mitigate logistics risks, delays, and bottlenecks
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and logistics service providers
- Monitor logistics budgets and implement cost control measures
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and improvements
- Ensure proper documentation for shipments, customs clearance, and delivery records
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics management within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in Roads & Bridges or large-scale civil engineering projects
- Knowledge of fleet management, heavy equipment logistics, and site coordination
- Familiarity with UAE transportation laws and customs procedures
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
