To manage, plan, and control all logistics operations within the project, equipment management, transportation, site access, and overall logistics coordination. Ensures efficient resource utilization, smooth material flow, cost control, and full compliance with project schedules, HSE requirements, and client standards
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the project logistics plan aligned with project schedule and construction sequence
- Coordinate with construction, procurement, and subcontractors for material delivery,
- Manage site access and traffic control; ensure safe and efficient movement within project zones.
- Monitor material availability and prevent delays impacting project progress.
- Plan and allocate equipment to different project areas based on workload.
- Ensure full compliance with safety requirements for all machinery and operator
- Maintain equipment logs, utilization reports, and downtime analyses
- Coordinate logistics requirements with subcontractors and suppliers
- Evaluate performance of logistics subcontractors and recommend improvements
- Ensure logistics activities follow HSE policies, lifting plans, traffic management plans, and toolbox talks
Academic Qualifications and Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction logistics for major infrastructure/civil projects Strong knowledge of fleet management, lifting operations, and site logistics planning
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and logistics tracking software.
