Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
– Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
– Manage transportation schedules and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
– Supervise logistics personnel and provide leadership and training as necessary.
– Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve any logistical issues.
– Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent shortages or surpluses.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within logistics operations.
– Prepare and manage logistics budgets and reports to ensure cost-effectiveness.
