Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
- Service vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, and lighting.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and company maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Technical certification or vocational training in automotive mechanics.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Previous experience as a light vehicle mechanic is an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 kg, when required.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
