Light Vehicle Driver Jobs in Dubai at Space Built Technical Services LLC
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of proven driving experience. UAE driving experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting company staff, materials, documents, or other items as required while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, materials, documents, and other items as required.
- Follow all UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Ensure timely and safe transportation to assigned destinations.
- Check the vehicle daily and report any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
- Perform basic vehicle checks, including tires, oil, coolant, lights, brakes, and fuel levels.
- Plan routes and use GPS/navigation systems to ensure efficient travel.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or items when required.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure company documents, materials, and other items are transported safely.
- Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow instructions from management and supervisors.
- Maintain professional and respectful behavior when dealing with clients, staff, and suppliers.
- Perform other driving-related duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- UAE driving experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and locations.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation applications.
- Good driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physically fit and able to perform loading/unloading duties when required.
- Punctual, reliable, responsible, and professional.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
