Responsibilities:
– Plan, supervise, and authorize all lifting operations on site in adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
– Conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements for lifting activities.
– Inspect lifting equipment and certify its suitability for use before operations commence.
– Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, and site managers to ensure smooth execution of lifting tasks.
– Maintain detailed records of lifting operations and generate regular safety reports.
– Provide training and guidance to lifting teams to promote safe working practices.
– Act as the main point of contact for lifting-related incidents and implement corrective actions promptly.
– Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety laws and international best practices related to lifting operations.
