A meticulous and experienced legal accountant is sought to enhance the financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and evaluating internal control systems. The role aims to attract a qualified professional capable of delivering transparent and accurate financial reports to support senior management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit periodic and annual financial statements and ensure their accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and standards set by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
- Prepare and evaluate tax and zakat declarations (Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax) accurately and within regulatory deadlines.
- Manage direct interactions with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and respond to their inquiries.
- Evaluate internal control systems of the company, identify financial risk gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them and improve performance.
- Oversee routine and annual audit procedures and reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive management and financial reports for senior management, supported by analyses and recommendations.
- Collaborate and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate their tasks and complete annual audit procedures.
