Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support various engineering and Landscaping construction projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs meet specifications and are ready for implementation. Proficiency in various drafting software is essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Create schematics and mechanical designs that align with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for drafting tasks.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the drafting process.
- Utilize NavisWorks for project visualization and coordination among different disciplines.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
Experience
- Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Civil 3D.
- Experience in drafting for construction projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
