About the Role:
AluMake Metal Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Junior Structural Engineer to join our technical office team. The ideal candidate will focus on structural calculations, structural integrity verification, and anchor/bracket design for aluminium and glass facade systems, balustrades, and joinery interfaces across high-profile developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations for aluminium framing, glass thickness, wind loads, and dead loads in compliance with local & international codes.
- Design and analyze brackets, fixing anchors, and connection details for facade & balustrade systems.
- Prepare clear technical calculation reports for Consultant submittals and approvals.
- Coordinate with the detailers and site engineering teams to resolve structural interface challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience (preferably within aluminium, glass, or facade engineering in the UAE/GCC).
- Must be highly proficient in STAAD.Pro (Core Requirement).
- Solid understanding of wind load calculations (BS/EN/Eurocodes or ASCE standards).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; knowledge of FEA software (e.g., RFEM/MEPLA) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
