Junior Electrical Site Engineer (DEWA Approved) Jobs in Dubai at Al Ummah Contractors
We are looking for a Junior Electrical Site Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be DEWA-approved or Dubai Municipality-approved, possess a valid UAE driving license, and have experience in residential and commercial building projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, basic plumbing knowledge, and be capable of preparing workshop drawings and DEWA submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical works at construction sites.
- Prepare and review electrical shop/workshop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare load schedules, load balancing, and electrical load calculations for DEWA submissions.
- Coordinate with DEWA and relevant authorities for approvals and inspections.
- Assist in the design and execution of power, lighting, and electrical distribution systems.
- Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, including HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, ELV, BMS, and LPG.
- Work closely with civil and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications, DEWA regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
- Support project engineers in resolving technical and site-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE/GCC experience in electrical construction projects.
- DEWA Approved or Dubai Municipality Approved Engineer (mandatory).
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing electrical shop/workshop drawings.
- Experience in electrical load calculations, load balancing, and DEWA submissions.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems is mandatory.
- Good understanding of UAE electrical codes, DEWA regulations, and construction standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
