Position: Junior Accounts Payable Officer (Own visa – UAE based)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team for a project-based role. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes for goods and services received.
Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with clearing the backlogs in terms of payable
Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements to ensure account accuracy.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
Support month-end closing processes by preparing reports and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and tax regulations.
Assist with audit requirements related to accounts payable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Valid UAE resident visa
