Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting management with financial reporting and compliance.
Summary of the Role
The Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate should be organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure tax compliance
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
- Monitor company expenses and budgets
- Coordinate with management on financial planning
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office tools
- Knowledge of VAT regulations in UAE is preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional and ethical work attitude
