The IT System Engineer will be a key member of the Seer IT department and will focus on maintaining the IT Infrastructure environment and supporting business functions in terms of technologies. The IT System Engineer will ensure that IT Infrastructure is maintained in compliance with Seer Solutionz’s IT Security Standards. The post holder will report to the IT Manager and continue to work with the various departments & entities of Seer Solution for continuous improvement and standardization.
Job Description
â–ª Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
â–ª Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues. â–ª Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability â–ª Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
â–ª Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support.
â–ª Experience maintaining security of the infrastructure, services, and capabilities including network architectures with VPN and MPLS
â–ª Responsible for Network LAN/WAN/WLAN and internet infrastructure uptime, patching and upgrades.
â–ª Coordinate with other technology team members to complete user requests or resolve issues where server and cloud, Infrastructure & virtualization specific issues are escalated.
4. Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
â–ª Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the IT System administrator role
â–ª Certifications like CCNA/ ITIL/ Microsoft 365/ Azure etc. (Any one )
â–ª Minimum 2 years of proven working experience on Microsoft 365 suites especially on the security products (ATP suites)
Knowledge of High Availability or Disaster recovery is must.
knowledge of Storage is must.
â–ª knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
â–ª Hands-on experience with DLP products, backup tools (servers and endpoint) etc.
â–ª Customer service-oriented approach and interpersonal skills â–ª Fluent in English communication skills
â–ª Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with staff in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
