We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team at First Flight Couriers LLC. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware, networking, and basic knowledge about software and APIs, coupled with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our IT infrastructure, including endpoints such as desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
- Configure and manage firewalls to control incoming and outgoing network traffic, ensuring network security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and security protocols.
- Monitor endpoint and firewall logs for security incidents and anomalies, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technology solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience or relevant certifications may be considered.
- Minimum of four years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role, with specific experience
- Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, including antivirus, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting endpoint and firewall issues, including network connectivity and access control problems.
- Familiarity with industry-standard endpoint security tools and firewall management platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of endpoint security and firewall administration.
Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
