Position: IT Network Technician
EDUCATION: Must be a diploma/degree qualified from an accredited professional institution.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in the UAE/GCC region.
CERTIFICATE: UAE Driving license & Manlift operator license (Note: Manlift operator license – This certificate is not mandatory, you can take it once you join us)
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
1. Be proficient in IT room wiring engineering and Optical fiber fusion.
2. Be good at IDC maintenance and wiring installation.
3. Be familiar with Video surveillance system, Conference system, VOIP system, IPTV system, WLAN system.
4. Be good at UPS maintenance.
5. Be ability to have basic network knowledge to solve simple network failures.
COMPETENCIES:
1. Capability of working in multi-culture environment, especially in Middle East environment.
2. Capable of basic communication in English.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Terminates copper/fiber cables including cable arrangement and patch panel installation.
2. Handled Splicing Machine and OTDR testing methods for huge fiber cabling projects.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot network cable problems.
4. Installation, configuration, fixing and testing of CCTV cameras (indoor /Outdoor).
5. Maintenance of CCTV cameras on site. Changed parts and components which broke down and replaced with new parts.
6. Correctly positioned all CCTV cameras in the site for proper recording and assured all areas in the facility are covered.
7. Installation and testing of wireless access points (indoor /Outdoor).
8. Install, repair and update door access control boards, fire alarm integration with ACS card-swipe equipment, alarm devices, door alarms, locks etc.
9. Install and maintain Printer& Laptops/desktops.
10. Perform preventive maintenance & troubleshoot on UPS and associated equipment
11. Configuration, Maintaining and troubleshooting of LAN & W-LAN.
12. Installation and testing of Speaker system, RFID system & GPS tracking system
13. Responsibility for documenting the reports.
Work Schedule:
Employees will follow a rotating shift schedule based on the assigned shift plan. The work schedule consists of two shifts:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Each shift operates on a 7-day work, 7-day rest cycle, meaning employees will work for seven consecutive
days, followed by seven consecutive days off before the next shift rotation.
