Job Description
The IT Governance Manager will design and oversee the implementation of IT governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. The position includes responsibility for risk management, compliance monitoring, and governance reporting. This individual will collaborate with internal teams to promote awareness and ensure alignment with organizational goals, fostering a culture of governance and accountability.
Job Responsibilities
Policy Development & Implementation
Develop and implement IT governance policies to align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Monitor adherence to governance standards, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to IT operations and systems.
Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX, maintaining detailed records for audits.
Governance Oversight
Monitor IT projects and systems to ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
Prepare detailed reports on IT governance performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration & Training
Collaborate with internal departments to promote governance awareness and implement best practices.
Deliver training programs to ensure employees understand and follow IT governance requirements.
Audit & Reporting
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance.
Present governance metrics and updates to senior leadership.
Skills
Essential Skills
Proficiency in IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Strong knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and team collaboration.
Desirable Skills
Certifications in COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001, or CISA.
Experience with IT governance tools such as ChangeGear, ServiceNow, or similar.
Familiarity with audit processes and creating governance documentation.
Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams in implementing governance frameworks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED30,000.00 per month
