IRRIGATION ENGINEER Jobs in Doha at Asklan Trading and Agriculture W.L.L
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Irrigation Engineer to join our team and support our landscaping and irrigation maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise irrigation installation, operation, and maintenance works.
- Design and review irrigation networks, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Inspect pumps, controllers, valves, sprinklers, drip systems, and pipelines.
- Prepare irrigation schedules according to plant and site requirements.
- Diagnose system faults and ensure timely repairs.
- Supervise technicians and workers and assign daily activities.
- Monitor water consumption and improve irrigation efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
- Strong experience in landscaping and irrigation maintenance projects.
- Good knowledge of automatic irrigation systems and irrigation controllers.
- Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Good communication, reporting, and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Valid Qatar driving licence is preferred.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar with a transferable visa/NOC are preferred.
