The Investor Relations Executive will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential investors, managing relationships, and securing funding to support MGI & its subsidiaries – growth and expansion. This role requires a proactive approach to fundraising, strategic investor communication, and ensuring transparency in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Outreach & Fundraising
Develop and execute a structured plan to attract investors, including venture capitalists, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
Maintain an updated database of potential investors and track engagement progress.
Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and networking events.
Work closely with leadership to refine the company’s investment pitch and model.
Investor Relations & Communication
Act as the key liaison between MGI and investors, ensuring timely and clear communication.
Prepare investor presentations, reports, and updates to enhance engagement and trust.
Address investor inquiries and ensure all financial and strategic queries are managed effectively.
Develop long-term relationships with investors to support future fundraising rounds.
Maintain accurate records of investor commitments, agreements, and communications.
Provide regular reports to senior management on investor engagement and fundraising progress.
Financial & Market Intelligence
Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and market movements that may impact investor confidence.
Support due diligence processes and ensure all required documentation is available for investors.
Key Requirements:
Experience in investor relations, fundraising, or financial services.
Strong ability to engage and build trust with investors.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with investment structuring.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet fundraising targets.
Knowledge of the fundraising & start-up ecosystem is a plus.
Internal Expectations:
The Investor Relations Executive is expected to work closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with company goals and funding strategies.
Regular internal updates on investor conversations, progress, and challenges should be shared with the management team.
Active participation in business strategy discussions to align investor messaging with company growth plans.
