Investment Business Development Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reports to: Managing Director

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Investment Business Development Manager to support the firm’s growth through strategic relationship development, deal origination, and active pipeline management.
This is a high‑visibility, client‑facing role requiring strong networks across family offices, private investors, institutions, corporates, and strategic partners.

The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, build long‑term relationships, and support transactions from origination through to execution, acting as a key link between clients, introducers, investors, and the internal deal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate new opportunities across investments, advisory, capital markets, and strategic transactions.
  • Build and manage a strong deal pipeline through proactive market engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with family offices, private offices, institutional investors, corporates, and strategic partners.
  • Support distribution of investment opportunities and generate repeat business.
  • Manage CRM pipeline, track opportunities, and coordinate stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Assist with due diligence, onboarding, proposals, presentations, and transaction materials.
  • Ensure high‑quality client engagement and represent the firm at industry events.

Experience & Background

Experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred:

  • Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance
  • Private Credit, Wealth or Asset Management
  • Family Office Advisory, Alternative Investments, Financial Services

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Business development or origination experience
  • Exposure to deal‑driven environments
  • Experience managing HNW and institutional relationships
  • Strong networks across the UAE and wider region

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business development and networking capability
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Exceptional English fluency (written and spoken) with strong presentation skills
  • International or Western education background preferred
  • Commercially astute with a revenue‑generation mindset
  • Ability to identify and convert opportunities into mandates
  • CRM and pipeline management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive presence
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment

Candidates with Western or international education and polished English communication skills are strongly preferred due to the client‑facing nature of the role.
