Job Summary
An Inventory Controller & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and coordinating the movement of goods. The role focuses on efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery within the supply chain.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Perform regular stock counts (cycle counts and physical audits).
- Track incoming and outgoing goods.
- Investigate discrepancies and adjust records accordingly.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products.
Logistics Coordination
- Plan and coordinate shipments (inbound and outbound).
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouses.
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes).
- Track deliveries and resolve delays or issues.
- Optimize routes and transportation costs.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain inventory records using Tally or inventory management systems.
- Generate reports on stock levels, shortages, and movement trends.
- Analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Follow health and safety standards in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

- May require standing, lifting, or working with warehouse equipment
