Foreman – Job Description (Concise)
Job Summary:
A Foreman supervises site workers and ensures construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to drawings and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site work and labor.
- Ensure work is done as per drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Monitor productivity and maintain work progress.
- Assign tasks and manage workforce on-site.
- Ensure safety procedures and site rules are followed.
- Check materials, tools, and equipment availability.
- Report progress and issues to the Site Engineer.
- Inspect work quality and correct any defects.
Requirements:
- Diploma or relevant trade certification.
- 3–10 years of construction site experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read drawings and manage teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and site practices.
