Job Description – Inventory Controller

Position Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Riyadh

Department: Warehouse & Supply Chain Management

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week

Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and 

internationally as required by business needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage 

warehouse inventory, stock movements, ERP transactions, and inventory accuracy across 

multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in warehouse 

operations, stock counting, inventory reconciliation, ERP systems, and maintaining 

accurate inventory records.

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, conducting 

periodic stock audits, managing all inventory-related ERP transactions, and supporting 

procurement and operational teams with accurate stock information.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses and operational sites. 

• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability. 

• Track inventory movements including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and 

adjustments. 

• Ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely. 

ERP & System Management

• Manage all inventory-related transactions through the ERP system. 

• Perform Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issues, Stock Transfers, Returns, and 

Inventory Adjustments. 

• Verify and reconcile ERP stock balances against physical inventory. 

• Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all inventory transactions. 

• Generate inventory reports, stock valuation reports, and movement reports. 

Warehouse Operations

• Coordinate with Technical staff to ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuance of 

materials. 

• Ensure stock is organized and stored according to company standards. 

• Monitor inventory aging, slow-moving, and obsolete stock. 

• Support implementation of warehouse best practices and inventory controls. 

Stock Audits & Physical Verification

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stock counts. 

• Perform cycle counting and periodic inventory audits. 

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. 

• Prepare reconciliation reports and submit findings to management. 

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Project Teams regarding 

stock requirements. 

• Maintain inventory records for multiple warehouses and project sites. 

• Prepare periodic inventory performance reports and KPIs. 

• Support external and internal auditors during inventory audits. 

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures. 

• Maintain proper inventory documentation and audit trails. 

• Implement controls to minimize stock loss, damage, and shrinkage. 

• Ensure all inventory transactions are supported by approved documentation. 

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse 

Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. 

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, or 

Supply Chain Operations. 

• Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses or locations. 

• Experience in stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory audits. 

Technical Skills

• Strong experience using ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, 

Odoo, or similar). 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting. 

• Knowledge of inventory valuation methods and stock management principles. 

• Ability to analyze inventory data and prepare management reports. 

Language Requirements

• English – Professional proficiency (Mandatory). 

• Arabic – Preferred (Speaking, Reading, and Writing).

Travel Requirements

• Must be willing to travel frequently across Saudi Arabia to warehouses, project sites, 

and operational locations. 

• Must be available for international travel when required by management. 

• Ability to conduct on-site stock audits, inventory inspections, and warehouse 

assessments. 

Preferred Experience

• Experience in transportation, mobility, logistics, technology, or fleet management 

industries. 

• Experience handling IT equipment, networking equipment, MDTs, cameras, 

electronics, or technical inventory. 

• Experience in multi-location warehouse operations. 

• Knowledge of inventory control standards, warehouse KPIs, and audit processes.

• Inventory Accuracy ≥ 99% 

• Stock Count Accuracy ≥ 99% 

• ERP Transaction Accuracy ≥ 99% 

• Timely Completion of Stock Audits 

• Inventory Reconciliation Completion within Defined SLA
