About the Role:
Halo Interiors LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interior Fit-Out MEP Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for high-end interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with MEP draftsmen to prepare and finalize coordinated shop drawings, builders’ work drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Review architectural, structural, and interior drawings to ensure MEP services are properly coordinated and clash-free before construction.
- Prepare MEP layouts, equipment locations, and routing details in compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to obtain timely approvals for MEP drawings, material submittals, and technical queries.
- Conduct stage-wise MEP inspections to verify that all works are executed as per approved shop drawings, method statements, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Check and verify all executed site works related to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving project completion targets and resolving technical/site coordination issues.
- Coordinate daily with civil, architectural, and joinery teams to resolve clashes and maintain smooth project progress.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, subcontractor performance, and material availability to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and snag rectification to ensure all MEP systems are fully operational and approved by consultants and clients.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain site documentation, update as-built drawings, and support final testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit-Out and MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Experience with commercial offices, retail, hospitality, F&B, and luxury interior projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority approval procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project planning software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence preferred.
