Job Description
EBARZA is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern / Junior Interior Designer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, fresh graduate, or aspiring interior designer who wants to gain practical experience and develop their skills in a professional design environment.
The selected candidate will work closely with the design and project teams and will have the opportunity to participate in real interior design projects, from concept development through to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the interior design team in developing creative design concepts and ideas.
- Assist with space planning, furniture layouts, and interior design presentations.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, color schemes, and design presentations.
- Assist in creating 2D drawings, elevations, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Assist with 3D modeling and rendering of interior spaces.
- Research furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, fabrics, and décor.
- Assist with selecting suitable materials and finishes based on project requirements.
- Support the design team during client presentations and design revisions.
- Assist with site visits and understand how designs are implemented on-site.
- Coordinate with suppliers and assist in collecting material samples and product information.
- Maintain organized design files, drawings, and project documentation.
- Learn and follow EBARZA’s design standards, processes, and project requirements.
- Perform other design-related tasks assigned by the senior designer or project team.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
- Students currently pursuing an interior design program may also be considered for an internship.
- Basic knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
- Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio of academic, personal, or previous design projects is preferred.
