Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems used in industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with field instruments, control valves, transmitters, PLC systems, and calibration equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain field instrumentation equipment.
- Perform calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems.
- Inspect, test, and maintain control valves, actuators, and positioners.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist in PLC, DCS, and SCADA-related maintenance tasks.
- Prepare calibration reports and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to HSE and company procedures.
- Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation.
- 2–5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in industrial plants.
- Knowledge of process control instruments and calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Ability to use calibration tools such as pressure calibrators, HART communicators, and multimeters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
