Job Description:
As an Import Export Specialist at IFFB, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of shipments, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will also support sales follow-ups and lead generation activities when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
- Prepare and organize Ministry of Health files for submission related to import/export requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for shipment readiness, loading schedules, and receipt of goods.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities.
· Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to support demand forecasting and inventory planning, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment of finished goods and raw materials.
- Follow up on sales leads generated from exhibitions and events.
- Assist in contacting potential customers via email and phone.
- Support lead tracking and follow-up activities to ensure timely communication.
