Overview
Provide OM&R for HVAC/R systems and ICS base wide. OM&R shall include regular inspection, operational testing, and balancing, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/R systems such as, but not limited to:
Chillers, air handlers, compressors, chilled water pumps, valve actuators, electronic dampers, water and air temperature sensors, water flow switches, air differential pressure switches, fan coil units, packaged air conditioners, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, and direct digital controls (DDC).
Responsibilities
Assist HVAC Technicians in performing Preventative Maintenance and repairs to HVAC Systems and components according to manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes and regulations.
Have knowledge of chemical water treatment programs for all closed-loop HVAC systems, such as chilled water systems.
Operate a Refrigerant Recovery Program to ensure proper handling, containment, and management of refrigerants, complying with environmental regulations.
Provide written reports after inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of systems or components.
Follow safety and quality programs in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and USAF requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Safeguard government and contractor property.
Accurately report time and complete timesheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; related experience may substitute for education.
Provide documentation of HVAC/R training attendance.
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial chilled water systems.
Knowledge of CRAC systems.
U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Passport and SECRET Security Clearance.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License with manual transmission ability.
Ability to communicate in English and pass various security and medical tests.
Experience in HVAC operations, maintenance, and repair for at least three years.
Understanding of safety directives and policies.
