Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Works
- Supervise installation of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting systems, cable trays, conduits, wiring, panels, generators, and earthing systems.
- Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Plumbing Works
- Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and plumbing fixtures.
- Ensure proper installation of piping systems, pumps, water tanks, and associated equipment.
- Monitor pressure testing and inspection of plumbing systems.
HVAC Works
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, chilled water piping, FCUs, AHUs, ventilation systems, and HVAC equipment.
- Ensure proper coordination of HVAC works with other trades.
- Monitor testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
General Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP activities with Civil, Architectural, and Interior Fit-Out teams.
- Monitor daily site activities and workforce productivity.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review drawings and identify site issues before execution.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update site management on work status.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project engineers.
- Ensure timely completion of MEP activities as per project schedule.
- Monitor material usage and site resources.
- Assist in snagging, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
- Experience in hotel, hospitality, residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and shop drawings.
- Good leadership and site coordination skills.
- GCC and/or Africa experience preferred.
