Job Title: HSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environment)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and qualified HSE Officer to join our team for a mall construction project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with UAE regulations and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and client requirements
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
* Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures
* Monitor work activities to ensure safe practices are followed at all times
* Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and staff
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports
* Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports as required
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters
* Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety protocols on-site
* Promote a strong safety culture across the project
Requirements:
* Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field/ certification
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction or mall/large commercial projects
* Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are mandatory
* Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and handle site safety responsibilities effectively
Preferred Skills:
* Experience working on large-scale commercial or mall projects in the UAE
* Strong observation and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
