HSE Officer – Construction and Fitout Jobs in Dubai at BCI Fitout Contracting LLC
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe working practices across construction and fit-out activities.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, approved HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and UAE regulations.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety briefings for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Monitor PPE usage, housekeeping, access, working at height, hot works, lifting, electrical works, and other site-specific risks.
- Record and report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and HSE observations, ensuring corrective actions are followed through to closure.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and improve site HSE standards.
- Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, first-aid arrangements, and emergency drills.
- Assist during client, consultant, and authority HSE inspections and ensure observations are addressed promptly.
- Maintain HSE records and prepare regular reports highlighting incidents, observations, risks, and corrective actions.
- Perform other duties assigned by the department head related to the role and its processes.
