Job Title: HSE Officer
Location: Al Barsha, Dubai
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management on construction projects, particularly villas, high-rise buildings, and residential developments. The candidate must possess NEBOSH and IOSH certifications and demonstrate a proven track record of implementing HSE standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor the use of PPE and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
- Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system for Work at Height, Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Excavation Works, Lifting Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of HSE experience in the construction industry in the UAE.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory.
- IOSH Certification – Mandatory.
- OSHA certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or villa construction projects.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must have UAE Driving license
Salary: AED 6k–10k per month (based on experience and qualifications).
