Firas Engineering Consultancy is seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with strong experience in preparing and reviewing Fire and Life Safety drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Fire and Life Safety drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop evacuation plans, exit routes, travel-distance layouts and occupant-load calculations.
- Prepare fire-compartmentation, emergency-lighting and fire-safety layouts.
- Coordinate life-safety requirements with architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Review project designs for compliance with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, NFPA standards and Civil Defence requirements.
- Address authority comments and support Civil Defence submissions and approvals.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare HSE reports when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Proven UAE experience as an HSE Engineer.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Fire and Life Safety drawings.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Fire and Life Safety Code and applicable NFPA standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Civil Defence submission and approval procedures.
- Strong coordination, communication and report-writing skills.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
