Brief Description:
HSE Engineer supports Senior in overseeing all HSE activities related to exploration and appraisal well drilling operations. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with the Company HSE policies, local regulations, HSE Standards, and industry best practices. HSE Engineer works collaboratively with the drilling team to foster a safe working environment for all personnel involved in offshore operations.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering or Science or HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue).
Professional Certification:
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent HSE Certification.
- Lead Auditor ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or Equivalent.
- Incident Investigation Techniques.
- Additional HSE Trainings / Certification (preferable).
Experience Requirements:
Mandatory Experience:
- Proven experience in Drilling HSE, HSEMS development, and HSEIA involvement.
- Prior experience working in Abu Dhabi offshore fields.
Industry Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE in Drilling / EPC projects / Operations in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industries with at least 2-3 years of experience in supporting HSEIA studies and assisting in compliance and risk management activities.
